Species Properties Pane

The user can edit Species name, Linked Pathway Object(s) (a list of items linked to selected species, see Pathway overview) and annotations (user notes associated with selected species).

The molecular details of Species can be specified and edited using mouse right click in the bottom Object Properites pane.

Species specification Using right mouse click, a user is able to

• Specify molecules that compose species
  
  
  
  
• After molecules are added, possible issues are highlighted in red (see also 3 errors in problems tab - two errors because two binding sites have unspecified states, one error because molecules are not connected).
  
  
• Specify how molecules are connected by mouse right click on binding site shape:
  
  
• Specify states for binding sites by mouse right click on state shape. Note that the number of errors is down to one - because molecules are already connected and one only one site has unspecified states.
